Our tour will commence at the statue of Skevos Zervos where we will discover his vast contributions to Kalymnos and beyond.

Many of Kalymnos’ residents have made a living on sponge diving for centuries. We will uncover their story while visiting one of Pothia’s many sponge factories.

We aim to enlighten you with tales of the capital, hidden backstreets of Pothia and the lives of Kalymnos’ citizens, both past and present.

Once we have walked our way up through Pothia there will be an opportunity for you to do your own exploring. Maybe you could visit one of Pothia’s museums? Or discover Pothia’s shops? Or even head back down to the harbor front to visit the picturesque cafes and restaurants?

This tour is available on request. It requires a minimum of two people to go ahead.

The tour costs 10 euros which will include a tour guide as well as a bottle of water (because it can be very hot!!!).
